City Compost Site is located at 3426 West Locust Road, 2 miles South of Beatrice on Hwy 77 and 1 mile West on Spur 136, Beatrice, NE 68310

Hours are Monday - Friday: 3:00 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

If the gate is closed, please check-in at the landfill

The Compost Site is closed on the following holidays:

*Memorial Day

*Independence Day

*Labor Day

*Thanksgiving Day

*The day after Thanksgiving Day

There is no charge to Gage County residents to load the available compost by themselves.  A Landfill Operator can load the compost for you for a minimal charge.

Yard waste (grass and leaves) may be dropped off at the Compost Site at no charge.
